December 2020

December 2020

We are all feeling, perhaps more fragile and human from our most unusual year. However, unlikely gifts have emerged through our isolation. We have had Zoom reunions, long phone conversations, baked for our friends, greeted our neighbors on daily walks, rescued unloved dogs and cats, and cleaned our garages. Holiday lights were up before Thanksgiving, and trees were up and decorated the day after. Clearly, a concentrated effort to create a sense of joy and hope as we await our rescue. The human spirit is irrepressible. I am so grateful and moved by the basic goodness of people. Wishing you all peace in your hearts, peace in your families and peace in our world.
