Manhattan Short Film Festival

October 5th, 7pm
The Varsity Theatre, Seattle

This incredible festival allows audiences across the globe to vote on nine finalists, selected from 1,565 entries. See the short films and vote for best film and best actor. Can’t make it to Seattle’s event? Visit The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art will be screening on September 29th and 30th. Click here for more showtimes.


A People’s History

October 17th - November 25th
Seattle Repertory Theatre

Mike Daisey presents: A People’s History. Daisey, a noteworthy storyteller, author and actor, will be performing an autobiographical story of learning U.S. history. Exploring history that is often disregarded, this show confronts political issues, exploitation, and the somewhat grim reality that many Americans face.


Cornish Scholarship Gala

October 27th, 6:30pm
Chihuly Garden and Glass

This year’s gala welcomes the new President of Cornish College of the Arts, Dr. Raymond Tymas-Jones. This will truly be a night to remember, with live entertainment, delectable dishes and more, all at one of the most sensational venues in the city.
